About Globe Studios

Located in the former Bonnie Stuart Shoe Factory at 141 Whitney Place in Kitchener, Globe Studios is a not-for-profit arts and culture organization dedicated to providing safe, affordable, and professional studio space for artists. Established in 1988, Globe has grown into a vibrant creative hub with more than 40 individual artist studios alongside shared spaces for exhibitions, workshops, and events. Home to painters, sculptors, ceramicists, printmakers, photographers, and interdisciplinary creators, Globe Studios fosters collaboration and innovation within the Waterloo Region's thriving arts community. The studios are open year-round, with the popular Spring and Fall Open House events offering visitors a rare opportunity to meet resident artists, tour their studios, and purchase original works directly from the creators. In addition to supporting artists, Globe Studios welcomes the public to engage with the arts through shows, sales, and community programming.
